Saundra Krienke · Senior Product Marketing Manager
A product creates value when customers have a reason to care.
My best work starts with understanding the customer, the product, and what’s happening in the market, then finding the story that connects them. I turn those insights into positioning, enablement, and adoption strategies that show up in customer behavior and business results. I care about work that solves meaningful problems and makes a real difference in how people experience the services they rely on.
Canteen One · Enterprise National Accounts
Enterprise value doesn’t stop when the contract is signed.
At Canteen One, I worked across the lifecycle of complex national enterprise relationships, partnering with Sales, National Account Management, Implementation, Operations, Finance, and leadership from new-client rollout through ongoing business reviews, renewal, and expansion.
My role was often to make the complexity clear: translating customer priorities, operational and financial performance, pricing, and business results into communications, recommendations, and value stories that helped customers understand what was working, where opportunities existed, and why the relationship should continue to grow.

Renewal + expansion
Build the case for what comes next
Used demonstrated results, evolving customer needs, and future opportunities to shape differentiated renewal and expansion stories.
Over time, I gravitated toward the work I enjoyed most: understanding customer needs, uncovering what created value, and shaping how that value was communicated. That became the bridge from enterprise customer strategy into product marketing.
01 · Building the PMM foundation
Built the PMM function Zight didn’t have.
When I joined Zight, there wasn’t a product marketing function. I started with Sales, including partnering on enterprise opportunities: what prospects were hearing, how buyers talked about the product, and where deals got stuck. Two gaps stood out: an inconsistent sales story and competitive information that was hard to use when it mattered.
We needed a clearer product story.
Prospects weren’t always hearing the same story about Zight or why it was different. I worked with the CMO to sharpen the narrative around customer problems, outcomes, use cases, and differentiation, then carried that positioning across sales conversations, product demos, and customer-facing stories. I made sure Sales could put it into practice through the deck, talking points, training, and pitch certification.
We needed competitive intelligence Sales could use.
Competitive information was limited and scattered across Sheets, Confluence, and slides. I conducted new research, built a centralized competitive intelligence foundation, and kept Product, CS, Marketing, and Sales current through a dedicated channel. Then I turned it into what Sales needed in a deal: battlecards, demo guidance, objection handling, and field plays.
Early proof in the field
Sales put the new enablement to work in a competitive deal.
One of the first opportunities to put the new messaging, competitive guidance, and training into practice resulted in a win against two major competitors.

02 · Tier 1 launch GTM
From customer signal to adoption.
I led end-to-end GTM from customer and competitive validation through early access, launch, and post-launch optimization. Customer insight shaped the positioning and value story, while close partnership with Product, Sales, and Customer Success carried that story through launch and adoption.
After release, I tracked product usage and customer feedback to identify friction, refine messaging, and improve how customers discovered and adopted the new capabilities.

A little about me
I’ve always been drawn to the value side of the work: understanding what customers are trying to accomplish, why they should care, and how to make that value clear to the people buying, selling, and using it. That curiosity pulled me toward Product Marketing, and it’s still the part of the work I enjoy most.
The people around the work matter just as much. I want to work alongside people I respect, where different perspectives are welcome and there’s a shared sense that we’re building something worth caring about.
Outside of work, I’m happiest outdoors and usually looking for an excuse to be on the water: fishing, boating, hiking, golfing, camping, traveling, or simply staying active.
